Welcome to TipTopics.com, the website component of services provided by corporate parent TipTopics LLC ("us", "we" or "the Company"). TipTopics LLC provides business advertising services, namely preparing and disseminating, primarily via email and internet channels, articles based on topical tips provided by clients including business owners, operators or their representatives.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") sets forth the privacy practices that apply to your use of "TipTopics Services" (or "Services") which may include but are not necessarily limited to accessing or using the TipTopics.com website ("TipTopics.com" or the "Site"), TipTopics' outbound emails, TipTopics blogs, and any other features, content, or applications that may be offered by TipTopics LLC in connection with TipTopics.com.

By using these Services, you signify that you (the "User") have read, understand and agree to be bound by this Policy, whether you are a "Client" or "Content Provider" (which mean you have entered into a pay-for-service relationship with TipTopics LLC), a "Visitor" (which means that you simply browse TipTopics.com), a "Posting Visitor" (which means you are a Visitor who posts content, including solicited or unsolicited comments or responses to Site content or Content Providers), a "Recipient" (which means you receive email communications from us on behalf of the Company or a Content Provider), or a "Member" (which means that you have registered to manage your content services relationship with TipTopics.com and/or TipTopics LLC).

General policy statement. The privacy and protection of your personal information is of utmost importance to us. Whether you communicate with us via TipTopics.com, email or phone, we will never disclose your individual personal information without your permission except as necessary, prudent, and permitted by law to: (a) detect or prevent fraud, (b) protect the rights, property and safety of the Company and Users, (c) ensure Site, network or system security, (d) enforce applicable provisions within our Terms of Use Agreement, including the investigation of potential violations, or (e) as otherwise required to comply with any applicable and enforceable law, regulation, legal process or governmental agency request.

Email communications. If you are a Recipient of email from us on behalf of one of our Content Providers, it is because: (a) you have/had a communication and/or professional relationship with that Content Provider, or (b) you have expressly "opted-in" to receive information from that Content Provider, or (c) you have registered or otherwise have an existing communication and/or professional relationship with us. To make it easy for you to "opt out", each email contains a link to "unsubscribe" via an automated system. If you have other concerns about TipTopics-related emails you may have received, contact us and provide details about the email(s) in question.

Collection and use of personal information. In order to provide our Services and enhance your User experience, we may, in some cases, require direct entry of personal information. We may also use "cookies" (a small text file that identifies your unique browser), server logs and other available technologies or methods to collect:

• Names and email addresses from our Clients in order to automate email delivery and manage opt-ins and opt-outs on their behalf.
• General personal and contact information from Users who register for a TipTopics service or otherwise voluntarily provide such information.
• Browser information which may include the originating URL and/or IP address, as well as the date and time of the User's Site visit or email activity.

For certain services and options, we may also require entry of credit card or other payment account information; we maintain this information in encrypted form on secure servers.

You may, of course, decline to submit personal information, in which case TipTopics may not be able to provide you with certain Services.

Affiliated sites and links. We may present links in a manner that enables tracking/counting of "click-throughs". By following these links, you will visit sites not owned or operated by TipTopics LLC. These sites may have different privacy standards and practices, so we encourage you to read their privacy policies and terms of service.

Modification of this Policy. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify this Policy at any time, for any or no reason, and without liability.
